Amanda Parrant – Success Strategies for Team Leaders and Supervisors

The group learning allowed me to focus on applying the key tools which will drive my success.

The timing of my enrolment into LMA’s Success Strategies for Team Leaders & Supervisors program couldn’t have been better as I was working on my personal development towards improving my skills in my current leadership position.

I was excited about the process of structuring my own developmental goals in conjunction with my Manager/Mentor which included the following.

  • Confidence in my presentation skills and public speaking.
  • Develop and implement a delegation plan to maximise my productivity and that of my Team.
  • Increase product knowledge to become the subject mater expert.
  • Improve work life balance.

Although hesitant about starting the program I found that the course content and interactive workshops with relevant to my role, engaging and fun. The group learning allowed me to focus on applying the key tools which will drive my success. Communication skills and delegation being the two stand outs for me.

I am now more confident within my role. Presentation with confidence at our month Sales and Ops meetings. Have higher trust in my Team and understand that as a Manager, I don’t need to do everything myself.

Not only has this generated a great return for my organisation but I am able to leave work at a reasonable time to enjoy life outside of the workplace.
