Understanding government funded courses

Government funded courses in Queensland and other States are a fantastic way to access vocational education and training (VET) without incurring significant costs. Several State governments offer funding for a variety of courses and programs, including subsidised training, fee-free training, and apprenticeships.

These initiatives are designed to equip individuals with the skills and qualifications necessary to secure employment or advance their careers. To be eligible for government funded courses, students must meet specific criteria. This includes being an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

These government funded courses cover a broad spectrum of industry areas, such as early childhood education, construction, nursing, and more. By addressing skills shortages in the workforce, these courses provide students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in their chosen careers.

At LMA, we offer numerous government funded courses in Queensland and some other States. Our diplomas and certificates are not designed to just tick a box for a qualification. We understand the importance of learning beyond training. Our Unique Learning and Development Process ensures that Participants achieve both attitudinal and behavioural changes to reach their highest potential. Our process imparts life-long learnings which ensure long-term impact. This is beneficial for both the individual and the organisation, enabling high returns on investment.

Our government funded courses champion thought leadership and changing attitudes in our participants, providing them with the knowledge and skills to progress their careers.
