Understanding Government funded courses

Government funded courses in Queensland and Australia-wide are a fantastic way to access vocational education and training (VET) without incurring significant costs. State Governments offer funding for a variety of courses and programs, including subsidised training, fee-free training, and apprenticeships.

These initiatives are designed to equip individuals with the skills and qualifications necessary to secure employment or advance their careers. To be eligible for Government funded courses, students must meet specific criteria. This includes being an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident. These Government funded courses cover a broad spectrum of industry areas, such as early childhood education, construction, nursing, and more. By addressing skills shortages in the workforce, these courses provide students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in their chosen careers.

At LMA, we offer numerous Government funded courses in Queensland and Australia-wide. Our diplomas and certificates are not designed to just tick a box for a qualification. We understand the importance of learning beyond training. Our Unique Development Process helps participants reach their highest potential, imparting life-long learnings which ensure long-term impact. This is beneficial for both the individual and the organisation, enabling high returns on investment.

Our Government funded courses champion thought leadership and changing attitudes in our participants, providing them with the knowledge and skills to progress their careers.

    What courses are included?

Different State Governments offer different programs for their Government funded courses.

Each state has their own initiatives for subsidised training. For example, Government funded courses in Queensland include the Higher Level Skills Program, which covers training fees for Certificate IV or higher level qualifications within priority skill sets. This initiative aims to address skills shortages and ensure that individuals can access fee-free training to enhance their career prospects and contribute to the workforce effectively.

Leadership Management Australia offers Diplomas, Certificate III, and Certificate IV qualifications which are subsidised by respective State Governments. This provides easier pathways to upskilling and career progression.
