Brienna Lennon – Challenge of Leadership

Throughout the journey the encouragement by my fellow participants, LMA Facilitator, my team and mentor greatly assisted the level of success obtained.

When my CFO suggested I participate in LMA’s Challenge of Leadership course I wasn’t sure what to expect.

Throughout the journey the encouragement by my fellow participants, LMA Facilitator, my team and mentor greatly assisted the level of success obtained. They made the learning experience both fun, engaging and challenging all at the same time. I look forward to utilizing the skills I have learnt and developed to drive future achievements in my professional and personal life.

Upon graduating it was great to reflect on the goals I achieved. These included spending 75% of my time on high payoff activities, the updating of Pre-Press processes company wide and a positive and sustainable exercise regime. I was also able to take a holiday for the first time in four years without carrying any stress based on the training, trust, and empowerment I instilled within my team.

I am now more productive, have an above the line attitude and improved active listening and communication skills which has created a better working environment for all. As a result, there has been a significant reduction in touch points through our processes which has reduced unnecessary interruptions and downtime.
