Ebrahim Akhondi – Success Strategies for Team Leaders and Supervisors

Utilising the techniques and insights gleaned from course materials and class discussions in real-world scenarios, and witnessing the tangible outcomes, constituted the most gratifying aspect of my learning journey in LMA.

In 2023, as my team grew larger, I began to realise that my standard 8-hour workday was insufficient for managing my daily responsibilities. I believed there had to be a more efficient way to maintain work life balance whilst sustaining peak performance without the need to work longer hours. In pursuit of this, I sought out a professional development provider to enhance my skills, and that’s when I discovered LMA and their Success Strategies for Team Leaders & Supervisors course.

LMA worked with me to tailor the learning outcomes, leading me to structure two professional and one personal development goal. These goals centered around developing new skills in leadership, time management and work efficiency. Having achieved these goals, I am now dedicating at least 50% of my work hours to strategic activities and have successfully recruited two of four new team members.

Key learnings for me included the importance of goal setting, planning and priortisation. Along with breaking team targets down into actionable tasks that can be delegated to team members to increase efficiency and empowerment.
