Luke Walker – High Performance Management

Based on my experience throughout LMA’s High Performance Management course I am happy to recommend this to other Senior Leaders looking to better themselves and their Team.

My primary goals for the course centered around creating a succession plan for management of the Warehouse, building stronger relationships with customers, maximizing individual and team performance and strengthen team comradery across the warehouse and sales departments.

I employed several strategies from my HPM to achieve these outcomes including the ADAPT model, increasing engagement levels of employees and streamlining my decision-making process. I was also able to structure and conduct more accurate and meaningful reviews, leading to planned development opportunities for my staff leading to increased retention and performance.

LMA’s approach to learning and development resonated well with me. I found the spaced repetition beneficial for creating new habits around setting weekly focus goals, quarterly win/win goals and delegating jobs that I should be doing to others which frees up my time to work more strategically and empowers those around me. The interactive workshops were useful for tackling the bigger issues and workshopping through solutions with a group of peers in similar roles with similar challenges.
