Matthew Leigh — Challenge of Leadership

LMA allowed me to tailor the learning outcomes to my specific goals around creating a more effective stock replenishment system and optimizing CNC programs to reduce rework.

I was enrolled into LMA’s Challenge of Leadership Program (COL) shortly after being promoted into the position of CNC Supervisor as I needed to become a strong leader within the organisation and create a high performing team.

The most valuable learnings from the program were the power of delegation and utilizing emotional intelligence to create a high-performance environment.

I am now more confident in my role, able to communicate with all stakeholders with greater clarity and understanding, including the ability to be more assertive when required.

The course has given me a greater insight into how my mind works not only in a professional setting, but also in my personal life. I am looking forward to continuing to utilize these skills throughout my career.
