Sarah Hurst – The Performance Edge

I really enjoyed the flexibility LMA provided throughout the learning process.

LMA’s Performance Edge course was a development opportunity provided to me and my colleagues by Winchester Australia to develop our performance edge and bring something new to our respective teams.

I wanted to gain confidence in my role while motivating my team to level up their organisational skills and time management. Personally, I wanted to build confidence in travelling as well as improve my quality of life.

There were several great tools in the course. I really enjoyed the Imperative/Important cards, which helped me learn to priortise tasks and swallow the big frogs first, as opposed to procrastinating by focusing on the small easy tasks.  The Total Person Concept highlighted what I had subconsciously prioritised in my life, allowing me to rearrange my values to what I actively want to priortise.

Throughout the journey, I was able to facilitate healthy discussions with my manager, resulting in a more specific career direction that aligns with my interests. I have documented all procedures related to my responsibilities to provide further clarity around my role and delegation opportunities moving forward.

While there are scheduled workshops to attend as well as individual guidance, the pace is entirely up to you, and extra support was available whenever required.

I would definitely recommend this program. Whether you’re someone who needs to learn new skills, or refine the skills that you already have, I believe there is something in this course for everybody.
