When my employer offered me the opportunity to participate in LMA’s Success Strategies for Team Leaders & Supervisors program I thought it would be a great avenue to learn and develop new skills.

I enjoyed structuring development goals aligned to my role and values which focused on completing projects in the most effective manner possible and utilizing more claimed timber to reduce waste. Throughout the program I have also increased my skills and confidence when communicating with my Team and public speaking.

Whilst there were several great tools withing the course I found that the most beneficial to me were the win/win agreement goals, goal planning sheets and power of delegation.

I graduated with the realisation I can achieve more than I ever thought which will motivate me to continue to learn, develop and grow moving forward. I would highly recommend this program to new and existing supervisors as you can always learn more about yourself, your team and how to do things more efficiently.
