Alpine Nurseries
Operating for over 40 years, Alpine Nurseries is a multi-award-winning business, supplying retail, residential and commercial customers including landscape architects, designers and local government.
Alpine is part of the largest wholesale production nursery group in Australia, offering consistent quality, service, scale and variety of green life to the landscape industry.
With three sites and a growing area of over 150 acres, Alpine continues to expand and increase growing capacity and prides itself on year-round availability of the broadest range and volume of quality plants on the east coast of Australia.
Alpine’s General Manager, Dan Ewings, is not only passionate about growing and distributing high quality plants and delivering exceptional service, he’s also a zealot for growing highly capable and professional people across the business. As a young leader and aspiring manager, he took the opportunity to participate in a frontline Leadership Development course with Leadership management Australia (LMA). His experience and the successes he achieved as a result lead to a longer-term relationship with LMA. Fast forward to today and Alpine has invested in a wide range of LMA experiences for team members at different stages of their careers.

“The most rewarding part of giving people the opportunity to be part of an LMA program comes when they not only successfully complete it, but also when they return to work after each workshop brimming with ideas and tools, eager to try new things and drive improvement and results – to make the place better, more productive and profitable and most importantly, more sustainable for us all”, says Dan.
