Jane Gartner – High Performance Management
“The program helped me understand not only how to lead others more effectively, but how my own mindset, behaviours, and emotions influence the people around me.”
Building the Mindset of a High Performance Leader: Jane Gartner’s HPM Journey
When Jane Gartner enrolled in the High Performance Management (Diploma of Leadership & Management) Program, she saw an opportunity to elevate her leadership capability and prepare herself for greater responsibility within the business.
She wanted to strengthen her high-level management skills, improve her workplace performance, and build the confidence and tools required to step into larger leadership opportunities.
What she gained was far more than practical management techniques.
Through the program, Jane developed a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be a high-performance leader. Learning how mindset, behaviours, communication, emotional awareness, and personal accountability all play a critical role in leadership success.
Turning Awareness into Action
One of the most impactful tools Jane applied throughout the program was the Time Analysis process.
By gaining visibility into how and where her time was being spent, she was able to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, eliminate non-value-added activities, and focus more intentionally on High Payoff Activities that created greater impact for the business.
“One of the greatest learnings was the time analysis tool, understanding where and how you spend your time.”
This shift in focus allowed Jane to work more strategically, improve productivity within her role, and dedicate more time toward continuous improvement initiatives that added measurable value.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
A standout part of the experience for Jane was the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals through the fortnightly LMA workshops.
The shared discussions, practical conversations, and exposure to different leadership perspectives helped reinforce her growth while expanding her leadership toolkit.
“The fortnightly workshops with all the LMA participants provided valuable reassurance, fresh perspectives, and additional tools and ideas to strengthen my leadership toolkit.”
