Enrolling into LMA’s Challenge of Leadership (BSB40520 Cert IV Leadership & Management) was an opportunity for me to further develop my leadership and management skills. My focus throughout the program was to achieve personal/professional growth and gain more confidence. I also structured some tangible goals around minimizing interruptions, increased customer satisfaction and deal with changing priorities and conflicting deadlines more efficiently.

There were a lot of great insights within the program which supported my development journey. A few that resonated with me the most was the power of delegation, communication style flexing and developing people’s potential. Though implementation of these tools I have seen better moral within my department, a more effective team with higher input and buy in. Personally, I have increased my productivity, delegated low pay off activities, reduced waste and communicated more effectively with all stakeholders. I am also finding myself less stressed and more confident within my role.

I highly recommend this program to others looking to development themselves. It will challenge you at times but ultimately allow you to achieve the maximum of your ability.
