Paul McIntyre – Challenge of Leadership
Having now graduated I found myself with several new habits and behaviors which are dramatically impacting the success of myself, my team, and my organisation
My experience throughout LMA’s Challenge of Leadership course has been extremely positive. I have learned how to be a better and stronger leader for my team members and how to act in a more professional way. I have learnt so much from the course content, Camille (LMA Facilitator) and my fellow participants from Hume and other organisations throughout the journey.
Having now graduated I found myself with several new habits and behaviors which are dramatically impacting the success of myself, my team, and my organisation. One of the standouts being goal setting, both personal and professional. Then breaking these down into tangible action steps that can be planned/achieved on a weekly and daily basis. I am also empowering those around me with effective delegation, freeing up my time to focus on critical projects and high payoff activities.
Combine this with the reduced downtime created by my workplace project around implementation of SOPs for the manufacture of our joinery products and there is a return on investment of over $300,000 per annum. My goal of creating better operations between sales and dispatch teams has allowed us to reach DIFOT of 98.9%.
I would encourage anyone looking to better their leadership skills to contact LMA around their courses as they really do allow you to achieve both personal and professional success.
