I have become a more impactful leader by developing my understanding of each of my team members, communicating with them more effectively and better managing my time and theirs through delegating appropriately.

Having successfully completed the SSTLS course with my Sugar Australia colleagues, I have developed many new success habits that are having a major positive impact on my own and my team’s productivity and growth.
My experience throughout LMA’s Success Strategies for Team Leaders and Supervisors course was extremely positive. I particularly enjoyed being able to bring new skills to life in current work projects. In doing so, I have become a more impactful leader by developing my understanding of each of my team members, communicating with them more effectively and better managing my time and theirs through delegating appropriately.

I drew inspiration from the Course Facilitator (Adrian) and my colleagues to confidently try a wide range of new approaches and techniques to address the challenges we face daily. Being able to adapt, change and improve on how we work has seen some terrific gains and benefits flowing – to me, to team members, and to Sugar Australia overall.
When I set out on this journey, I didn’t have any particular goals in mind. I was just keen to understand what the new thinking regarding leadership and to educate myself to take on the leadership challenge presented by the course. I’m delighted to say the course delivered some fantastic learning opportunities and the chance for me to shape my leadership for the future.

By better managing my time, guiding my team members and colleagues to make better use of their time and implementing numerous improvement opportunities, I estimate a return on investment of around $72,000 per annum for Sugar Australia.

I would highly recommend this course to all emerging leaders looking to better their leadership skills as you get to not only learn new skills but also implement them into your current work role. And the tools and techniques that you learn about and use during the course are available to use into the future.
