The best ideas from the course for me included delegation and having an open communication style with my team.

I embarked on the LMA Journey to upskill and refresh areas in my management style such as delegation and the ability to have difficult conversation regarding performance when required. This led me to structure developmental goals around structuring development and performance improvement objectives for the broader team by delegating my low payoff activities to them. Resulting in a more empowered team and allowing me to spend more time focused on my high payoff activities and driving top line results.

The best ideas from the course for me included delegation and having an open communication style with my team. The application of this learning into the business has seen increased team alignment and motivation, we are all working towards a common goal.

I enjoyed catching up with my fellow participants each fortnight for the interactive workshops. The breakout sessions were great, a good opportunity to talk through the day-to-day roadblocks as a group, get different perspectives on the same topics and learn from other people’s experiences.

I would recommend LMA’s Challenge of Leadership course to others within and outside of my organisation. This is a great course to realign focus and take the next step in your management journey.
